Certified Nursing Assistant / Certified Nurse Assistant

Job Summary
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) California, Days shift. This position involves working collaboratively with nursing staff, residents, families, and other facility departments to deliver individualized resident care within a skilled nursing facility. The role requires providing direct patient care, assessing residents, and ensuring effective communication among team members.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid California CNA license; no minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include receiving and giving resident reports, conducting rounds, assessing new or ill residents, documenting assessments per facility policy, notifying nurses of condition changes, assisting with direct patient care, answering call lights promptly, and promoting positive relationships with staff, residents, families, and physicians.
• Additional Information: The assigned shifts include some weekends and holidays and may require float to other units as necessary.
