Respiratory Therapist / Long Term Care

Job Summary:
Long Term Care Respiratory Therapist Location unspecified. This role involves providing cardiopulmonary services in a healthcare setting, ensuring timely diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for inpatients and outpatients. The position requires adherence to medical staff protocols and department policies to deliver high-quality respiratory care.

Job Details:

• Position Description: The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, insertion of arterial lines, intubations, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases.
• Required Qualifications: NBRC Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification; FL Respiratory Therapist license; ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association; 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
