Job Summary
Wound Care Specialist, San Joaquin County This role involves performing non-invasive, routine medical support services under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional. The position requires a focus on patient care, including setting up exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, and conducting specific testing such as audiometry and vision assessments.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High School Education or GED; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; successful completion of audiometry and vision training or certification from CHDP within six months of hire; no minimum years of experience required.
• Essential Functions: Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients, maintains a patient recall system including continuity of care logs, obtains vital signs, reports significant findings to the clinic physician, performs venipunctures as ordered, conducts audiometry and vision testing, and performs other related duties as assigned.
• Additional Information: The position involves clinical responsibilities related to wound care, with an emphasis on routine patient assessments and testing procedures to support treatment plans.
