Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit

Job Summary
PACU Ambulatory (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) nurse opportunity available in a fast-paced, trauma Level III facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for those recovering from anesthesia. The position requires a strong focus on patient safety and care quality, with responsibilities extending to collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification; experience in perioperative or PACU settings preferred, with at least 2 years of PACU experience and previous travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree preferred. Professional certification is advantageous.
• Position Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, formulate and execute personalized care plans, monitor patient progress and responses, document care activities accurately, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Additional Information: Prior experience in a Level III trauma environment and ability to work in both pre-op and PACU are required.
