Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Skilled Nursing

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Skilled Nursing (MS SNF) Nurse Team Lead position located in the Central US. This role involves overseeing patient care within a skilled nursing facility, demonstrating critical thinking, delegation, and time management, while fostering collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The position requires flexibility to support staffing needs, including dropping to an LPN Med Cart role as necessary.

Job Details:

• Position Description: The Professional RN Team Lead is responsible for time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization. They may provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting patient conditions. This role involves collaboration with the care team, participation in interdisciplinary care, and advocating for patients. RNs may need to drop to an LPN Med Cart position as staffing needs require and staffing permits.
• Schedule: Evenings shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week, on a 5-day schedule, with every other weekend and holiday required.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state nursing license, 0 years of experience required, and the ability to work the specified schedule.
• Additional Information: The position functions within a 3-unit, 120-bed skilled nursing facility, with each unit housing up to 40 residents. Staff-to-resident ratios are 1 RN to 2 LPNs and 3-4 CNAs for 40 residents. The orientation period lasts 1 day on the assigned unit. Scrubs of any color may be worn.
