Operating Room Tech / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist in an academic medical center setting. This role involves supporting surgical procedures in the labor and delivery department during night shifts, ensuring sterile technique, and assisting with both cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries. The position spans 13 weeks, starting November 3, 2026, to February 6, 2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM 6:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Associates Degree in Surgical Technology, Surgical Technologist Certification, BLS Certification, and 0 years of experience required
• The candidate must be able to work independently in the operating room, maintain a sterile field, and scrub for both cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries
• No float requirement; the assignment is within 35 miles of the original facility
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• No requests for time off within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Medical and religious exemption requests are permitted
