Registered Nurse / Telemetry Surgical

Job Summary
Telemery Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Springfield, MO This position involves providing direct patient care in a surgical telemetry unit at a healthcare facility. The RN will utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring patient rights, confidentiality, and safety are maintained throughout their shift.

Job Details

• Position: RN, Specialized in Telemetry and Surgical Care
• Location: Springfield, MO
• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license meeting Missouri licensure criteria or licensed in Missouri; BLS from American Heart Association; 1 year telemedicine and inpatient experience; Must have 4 trauma credits or complete within two weeks of start; NIHSS (prior to start)
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS from American Heart Association; Trauma, inpatient experience; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm demeanor, collaborate, and communicate effectively
• Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process for patient care related to trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities. Monitor patient activity, coordinate with ancillary departments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided. Maintain professional accountability, patient rights, and confidentiality while functioning within established guidelines and standards.
• Additional Information: Will float on a rotational basis; High risk exposure to blood and body fluids; Physical demands include bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs., and assisting with patient movements. Must be available for orientation on day shift and work the entire week.
