Licensed Practical Nurse / Oncology Clinic

Job Summary
Oncology Clinic LPN Lacey, WA. This position involves providing patient/family education and support, assessing vitals, handling pharmacy calls, labeling specimens, and documenting patient pain and concerns for providers. The role requires flexibility to float between clinics in Aberdeen and Centralia as needed.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, valid State License (Compact license must be in hand at submission)
• Education Requirements: N/A
• Degree Requirements: N/A
• Location Requirements: WA license in hand, candidate must be within 50 miles of the clinic locations
• Years of Experience: 2 years required
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with behavior management techniques, coordination of services, outpatient clinic or urgent care experience, medication reconciliation, pain assessment and management, patient education, symptom management, telephone triage, vital sign monitoring
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The LPN will primarily work at the Lacey location but may float 3-4 times per month to Aberdeen and Centralia clinics based on operational needs. Candidates must verify they are comfortable with floating and working at multiple clinic sites. Applicants must submit responses regarding previous employment at Providence facilities if applicable, along with two recent references covering at least one year within the last three years.
