Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Surgery Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical (MS) registered nurses are needed for a floating assignment in a facility with a 495-bed capacity located in Winchester, Virginia. This position involves working in a float pool, providing care for acute care patients across various units, including telemetry and cardiac. The assignment offers a dynamic environment where flexibility and experience in multiple units are essential to meet patient care needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association; Virginia State License, Compact License, or NIH certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry units with cardiac experience; ability to float to different units
• Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Additional Information: The position requires the ability to float to various units within the hospital, providing flexible support across the surgical and medical floors. Candidates must meet all clinical experience and certification requirements and be prepared to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027. Candidates may be considered within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
