Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit (PACU Ambulatory) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in the ambulatory care setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia in a fast-paced environment. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safety and optimal recovery outcomes for patients post-surgery or diagnostic procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, experience in an acute care setting, including recent work within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing, professional certification in relevant specialty areas, additional related education or experience
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, monitoring patient recovery status, administering medications and treatments per physician orders, and providing patient education. The RN will document care accurately, participate in clinical team activities, and support quality improvement initiatives. The assignment duration is from 10/05/2026 to 01/02/2027.
