Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor Covid 19

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS 19) Idaho Falls, Idaho. This hospital-based role involves providing patient care on a specialized Medical Surgical Floor focused on COVID-19 treatment. The position offers day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a typical schedule of 36 hours per week. The assignment is expected to start on 10/05/2026 and conclude on 01/04/2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, candidates with no minimum experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy certification, flexibility to work days or nights, friendly and team-oriented personality, excellent communication skills, strong time management, minimum of 98% medication safety adherence
• Additional Information:
  • Unit has 39 beds with a staffing of 60 personnel, including RNs, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and a US staff member
  • Patient ratios are 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night
  • Equipment includes Alaris intravenous (IV) pumps, Pyxis medication stations, Arjo lifts, Novastat monitors, and EMR system is Meditech
  • Float areas include Surgery/Orthopedics and Rehabilitation
  • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
  • On-call responsibility includes two weekends per month, only on call during low volume periods
