Operating Room Tech / Nursing Supervisor

Job Summary
Nursing Supervisor position available in a healthcare setting located in the region. This role involves overseeing nursing operations, staffing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The supervisor will coordinate clinical services, manage staff, and promote quality patient care within the facility.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Certified Registered Central Service Technician; 2 years management or supervisory experience; Certification as a Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in science or related field; Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program; Current Certification as an Instrument Specialist (CIS); 2 years health care experience in Surgical Services and/or Sterile Processing.
• Additional Information: Assists department leadership with broad operations to ensure the provision of comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements. Demonstrates responsible management of all departmental resources. Ensures staff professional needs are met.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally climb, twist, bend, kneel, reach above shoulder level, push, pull, and perform fine-finger movements. Visual and cognitive skills required to read data, analyze information, and make decisions. Lifting and other physical exertions are rarely required.
• Schedule Requirements: This role requires regular and sustained attendance; working beyond standard hours, including weekends and on-call shifts, may be necessary.
• Experience: Minimum of 0 years required for the role, with a focus on leadership in nursing or healthcare support roles.
