Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse Manager position based in Austin, Texas. This role involves overseeing neonatal intensive care unit operations, ensuring quality patient care, and leading nursing staff in a high-acuity environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for clinical management, compliance, and team leadership within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 0 years of experience required; current certification in neonatal intensive care nursing preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit is a Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit equipped with ventilators, infusion pumps, feeding devices, and electronic medical records systems. Typical personnel structure includes experienced nursing staff and administrative support. Dress code includes navy scrubs; other attire such as casual or inappropriate clothing is not acceptable. Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential qualities.
