Licensed Practical Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long Term Care Muncy, Pennsylvania. This role involves exercising sound nursing judgment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other licensed healthcare provider, providing patient care in a long-term care setting. The LPN will participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to applicable practice guidelines and policies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Successful graduation from an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Program, Pennsylvania licensure as an LPN, and at least 2 years of experience. Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in long-term care settings.
• Additional Information: The role involves communicating with the healthcare team regarding patient needs beyond the scope of practice, documenting patient care thoroughly, and collaborating with patients, families, and colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes. The LPN is expected to follow all relevant policies, participate in team activities, and perform duties in a culturally competent manner.
