Endoscopy Tech / Endoscopy Technician

Job Summary:
Endoscopy Technician position located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves supporting endoscopy procedures with a focus on reprocessing endoscopes and assisting with various endoscopic interventions. The position operates on day shifts with rotating call coverage, requiring a dedicated professional with relevant technical skills and experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 10 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call coverage from 17:30 to 07:00 during weekdays and 24-hour coverage on weekends.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER); familiarity with Olympus endoscopes, Medivators, leak testing; experience in reprocessing endoscopes; knowledge of procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, bronchoscopes, and EUS; at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Additional Information: No float requirement noted. The role involves supporting a high-functioning endoscopy unit with specialized equipment such as Olympus, Steris, Conmed, ERBE, and Boston Scientific. Candidates should adhere to unit-specific policies and dress code (hospital scrubs provided and closed-toe shoes).
