Operating Room Tech / Endoscopy Lab

Job Summary:
The endoscopy laboratory specialist position is located in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves supporting endoscopic procedures within the facility, with responsibilities including patient positioning, exposure management, and radiation safety. The position requires collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care during a rotating shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 8-hour day shifts. Total minimum hours per week: 40 hours.
• Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. BLS (Basic Life Support) or equivalent certification, successful completion of 2-day system endoscopy education within 30 days of hire, and documentation of orientation and competency as determined by the facility. The candidate must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently, demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and have BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Competency in all aspects of gastrointestinal procedures, patient positioning, and radiation protection; ability to collaborate within a team; proficiency in general GI procedures; computer skills may be required; ability to function in stressful and emergent situations; attention to detail; the ability to delegate tasks and multi-task efficiently.
• Additional Information: This position involves additional responsibilities such as on-the-job training and flexibility to work call shifts once a month, including weekends on a rotating basis. Employment begins after August 29, 2026.
