CT Technologist / Long Term Acute Care

Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Long Term Acute Care in Tampa, Florida. This position involves reviewing patient history and physicians` orders, educating patients about procedures, preparing and administering contrast media or medications within scope of practice, monitoring patient conditions, and performing imaging procedures. The role requires maintaining safety standards, troubleshooting equipment issues, analyzing imaging results, and ensuring high-quality image acquisition.

Job Details

• Schedule: The shift will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have BLS certification (American Heart Association), ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and Computed Tomography (CT), Florida CT/Radiologic Technologist license, associate degree in radiologic technology with additional CT technology certificate preferred. A minimum of 2 years recent experience in Radiology and CT is required. Candidate must be able to float between X-ray and CT departments.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must adhere to facility-specific fixed notes, including submitting all certificates and licenses with the application.
