Job Summary:
Endoscopy Technician in San Marcos, Texas. This full-time position involves assisting with patient care in the endoscopy department, including preparation, maintenance, and sterilization of equipment. The role may also require support during invasive endoscopic procedures and rotation of shifts with on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4 days, 10 hours per day; shift times vary between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM based on caseload.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; minimum of 0 years of experience required; BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; GI certification from SGNA preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in the operating room or endoscopy unit; gastrointestinal endoscopy (GITeche) experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Assists with the coordination of care for patients in the endoscopy department. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies. Capable of assisting in performing invasive endoscopic procedures, establishing and maintaining sterile fields, pulling cases, and knowledge of sterilization principles, aseptic techniques, and endoscopy instruments. Must be willing to rotate shifts and accept on-call assignments.
