Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Diabetic Floor

Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Diabetic Floor Nurse position is located in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves providing specialized care to diabetic patients within a busy acute care unit. The nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical-surgical nursing services with a focus on diabetic patient management and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience, and relevant education.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical nursing and diabetic care is highly preferred.
- Float: Yes, float rotation may be required to other MedSurg units.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of communication and personal involvement with patients and families. The unit cares for a diverse patient population, including those with complex medical needs, primarily related to diabetic conditions.
