Registered Nurse / Behavioral Health

Job Summary:
Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) position in Elko, Nevada. This role involves providing mental health care and support to adult patients in a dedicated behavioral health unit. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a facility committed to quality care and community well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Nevada RN license, BLS certification, Handle with Care preferred, minimum of 1 year inpatient behavioral health experience, located greater than 60 miles from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mental health illnesses such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders.
• Additional Information:
  • Must be willing to float to other departments as needed.
  • Unit features 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4.
  • Equipment includes vitals machine, Electronic Medical Record (EMAR), and Omnicell systems.
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in use is Med Host.
  • No call requirements.
  • Candidates must submit a complete application package including a resume and skills checklist.
  • The position is a contractor replacement for a behavioral health unit.
