Registered Nurse / Radiology

Job Summary:
Radiology Department Nurse Practitioner Astoria, NY. This position involves providing patient-centered care within the radiology department, focusing on safety, quality, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role emphasizes relationship-centered care, education, and safety practices to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule:
  Rotating shift, 7.5 hours per day, minimum of 37.5 hours per week, starting 08/03/2026.

• Required Qualifications:
  NYS Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), minimum 2 years of RN experience, 2 years of ambulatory outpatient and radiation safety experience, minimum 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem positions), EPIC experience highly preferred.

• Preferred Qualifications:
  Experience in radiation safety, outpatient care, teaching, therapeutic procedures, inventory management, and process improvement.

• Additional Information:
  The role involves performing charge nurse duties, coordinating supplies, facilitating patient throughput, and contributing to clinical safety and quality improvement initiatives.
