Certified Nursing Assistant / Medical Surgical Float Position

Job Summary:
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is available in a healthcare organization located in Falmouth, Massachusetts. This role involves providing basic care activities to support patients personal needs and comfort. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, ensure patient safety, and support a team-oriented environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift with 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess at least a 10th grade education, be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws, and demonstrate the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Candidates should have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate resident care, possess the ability to make independent decisions when necessary, and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Preferred Qualifications: Supportive teamwork skills, tactfulness, enthusiasm, patience, and the willingness to incorporate new nursing methods are valued.
• Additional Information: The position requires assisting nurses by performing basic care activities such as bathing, feeding, vital signs, and mobility support. The CNA must maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all safety and privacy protocols. The role may include sterilizing equipment, preparing food trays, and helping with resident comfort and hygiene. The start date is August 11, 2026.
