Operating Room Tech / Nursing Supervisor

Job Summary:
Nursing Supervisor position located in Bethpage, New York. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a large, busy state-of-the-art off-site reprocessing center that provides sterile processing services for multiple healthcare facilities, including tertiary sites and ambulatory surgery centers. The supervisor will coordinate staff, ensure compliance with sterilization policies and procedures, and serve as a liaison between the sterile processing department and perioperative areas to facilitate smooth operations.

Job Details:

• Location: 1001 South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, NY 11714
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST or CSPD) must not expire during the term of the assignment; 5+ years of relevant experience; leadership/management experience; associate degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience; ability to lift/carry 25 pounds; manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods; effective communication skills in English (verbal and written); ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Additional Information: Supervises and coordinates staff and daily operations of Central Sterile services; ensures staff compliance with sterilization techniques, policies, and procedures; maintains department records; manages equipment such as STERIS Washers and Autoclaves; participates in routine documentation; assesses and assigns job tasks daily; ensures proper handling of instrumentation; accepts and tags fast tracks; no nail polish permitted; scrubs provided and must be laundered at the facility; shoes, jewelry, hair, and beard must be appropriately covered.
