Operating Room Tech / Endoscopy Lab

Job Summary:
The position is in the Endoscopy Laboratory specialty located in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves working during day shifts, with an emphasis on endoscopic procedures and equipment handling. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting outpatient and inpatient endoscopy services, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: No minimum years of experience required; California state license in hand; certifications including BLS and SGNA; specific charting experience with Epic; experience with endoscopic equipment such as bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, and others; experience in outpatient endoscopy centers preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with endoscopic ultrasound scopes, high-level disinfection (HLD), sterilization/disinfection, aseptic techniques, and knowledge of various endoscopic procedures
• Additional Information: Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). The role involves floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. References covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required. Certification documentation must be submitted at the time of application.
• Travel Compliance: SSN, DOB, and RTO must be included at the time of submission. Candidates should be prepared for a regional local radius of 50 miles.
