Registered Nurse / Occupational Employee Health
Job Description
As a registered nurse - occupational employee health (RN), also called an occupational health nurse or employee health nurse, you`ll focus on the health and safety of employees. The roles of occupational health nurses are diverse, and depending on your position, you`ll serve as a case manager, educator, consultant or clinician in corporate, academic, industrial or government settings. Your duties may include teaching health and safety best practices, evaluating patients, treating injuries, immunizing workers or managing disaster preparedness programs.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
- Active RN license
