Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in an urban healthcare setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients within the specialized unit. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized care utilizing professional nursing standards and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, beginning 11/16/2026 and ending 02/13/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a temporary/interim RN license for the state of practice. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting for a minimum of one year within the past 12 months is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to progressive care nursing is also preferred.
  • Additional Information: This position requires the flexibility to float between campuses as needed, primarily working at the Boswell location. No religious exemptions for COVID-19 are allowed for this role. The RN will perform direct patient care, collaborate with healthcare team members, and participate in unit activities to ensure excellent patient outcomes in accordance with organizational policies and standards.
