Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse in a healthcare facility on night shifts. The position involves providing specialized care in a high-risk obstetric setting, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of mothers and newborns. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided, graduation from an accredited nursing program, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) with no minimum years of experience required, but recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience is preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field, five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery (preferably within the last two years), one (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years, high-risk obstetrics experience preferred
  • Additional Information: Must meet clinical skill requirements, demonstrate competency in handling high-risk obstetric cases, and collaborate effectively with the obstetric care team. Enabling skills-based hiring assessments may be utilized during the hiring process.
