Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telematics Registered Nurse (RN) needed for day shift in a healthcare facility location. The position involves providing high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. The role requires flexibility to float within the scope of practice across different units and campuses, with shifts scheduled during daytime hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California RN license, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications. Minimum of 3 years of telemetry nursing experience, including experience with cardiac telemetry, managing dysrhythmias, and IV insulin protocols.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with community hospital settings, telemetry management, and floating to multiple facilities within the scope of practice.
• Additional Information: Floating to medical-surgical units is possible; travelers will be notified approximately 1.5 hours prior to shift start. A shuttle service is available if floating is requested.
• Travel Experience Required: Yes.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, MAB or CPI.
• Skills: Managing ports, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry interpretation, PICC line management, wound care, and use of rapid response teams.
