Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position available in a 221-bed acute care facility and teaching hospital. This role involves providing direct clinical care to ICU patients during overnight shifts, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care. The RN will supervise staff and support the facility`s Chief Nursing Officer to ensure safe, high-quality nursing services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Critical Care Nursing, current RN license, at least 1 year of ICU experience, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital environment and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Additional Information: The ICU / CCU Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering direct patient care to critically ill patients on a per-shift basis. The role includes supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and supporting operational and clinical excellence within the unit.
