Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves providing acute care in a fast-paced emergency department, addressing a wide range of patient needs including respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, dialysis, and hypertension. The assignment offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while expanding clinical expertise in emergency nursing.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Associates of Nursing degree or higher, minimum of 2 years of ER experience, certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and the ability to work in the state of North Carolina.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic health records and general familiarity with ED equipment such as GE monitors.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Facility has 26 beds in the Emergency Department with patient ratios of approximately 1:4-5, depending on acuity.
  • Equipment includes GE monitors and standard emergency department tools.
  • All applicants must demonstrate a team-oriented approach with a positive attitude and engagement.
  • The position starts on 10/26/2026 and concludes on 01/25/2027, with a possible contractor replacement.
