Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position in an acute care facility. This role involves working in a high acuity, fast-paced emergency department environment. The selected candidate must have a minimum of two years of ER experience, be proficient with the Cerner electronic medical record system, and pass the EKG examination during orientation. The shift schedule is evenings, with a standard of 12 hours per shift, and a minimum of 36 hours per week. Starting on 10/26/2026, the assignment concludes on 12/07/2026.

• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida or compact license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certifications required prior to start; minimum 2 years ER experience; proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system; must pass an EKG exam during orientation; all requested time off must be submitted at the time of application.

• Additional Information: Position involves working every other weekend or alternating weekends and holidays as needed. May be required to float within the facility as assigned by the organization.
