The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) for a travel assignment in Centennial, CO. This role involves providing specialized support in a busy surgical unit, primarily focusing on orthopedics and spine procedures, including joint replacements and laparoscopic cases. Job Details

  • Position Description: Travel Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) at a healthcare facility in Centennial, CO, working primarily in the PACU / surgical unit.
  • Unit Information: The unit has 4 operating rooms plus 1 Endoscopy room, with a staff consisting of 4 full-time registered nurses, 3 full-time certified operating room technicians, and 1 per diem registered nurse.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician, active BLS, NBSTA & DORA Certifications, minimum six months current CST experience, and work eligibility in the specified location.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Total joint experience at a level 11 or 111, experience using robotics such as DaVinci, and prior experience with orthopedic and spine procedures.
  • Responsibilities: Support surgical procedures including orthopedic and spine surgeries, assist with equipment like Stryker, Mako, and Globus, and ensure adherence to unit policies and safety standards.
  • Schedule Details: 10-hour shifts, day hours, 40 hours minimum per week.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate active certifications and relevant surgical experience upon application.
