Registered Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in the area. The role involves providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to quality patient care within a supportive team environment.

Job Details

  • Shift Timing: Evenings (Shift Hours: 8 hours)
  • Schedule: 8-hour evening shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid and active RN license; Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university; BLS / CPR and AED Program Certification; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (or equivalent from an approved RN program)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures; leadership or supervisory experience; experience in long-term care settings; ability to work harmoniously with staff, residents, and families; strong decision-making skills
  • Additional Information: Responsible for administering medications, reviewing discharge plans, documenting resident care, and maintaining confidentiality of resident information. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and meet other physical requirements. The role includes participation in facility surveys, quality assurance programs, and resident admission/discharge procedures. Candidate must be willing to perform all relevant nursing duties and collaborate effectively within the team.
