Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency care setting. The role involves providing acute patient care for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and low-to-moderate acuity cases. The ER team operates around the clock, requiring flexibility and quick thinking to meet patient needs effectively.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current ER RN license with a minimum of 1-year recent experience in a busy emergency department. Must have BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in large facility Emergency Rooms, Meditech electronic medical records experience, and travel experience in a hospital setting.
• Additional Information: The unit is equipped with Alaris medication administration systems. The team handles procedures such as IV starts, medication administration, sedation, and pediatrics. The environment is dynamic with a focus on patient experience, fast pace, and diverse case management. Candidates should be adaptable, quick learners, and capable of handling high-pressure situations.
