Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse in Portland. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within the Medical Surgical with Telemetry specialty, following established standards of care and the nursing process. Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; CPR certification or BLS certification from approved vendor per organizational policy; facility-specific license/certifications including AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS; and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The nurse will collect relevant data pertinent to the patient`s health or situation, analyze assessment data for diagnosis and care issues, develop and implement care plans, evaluate progress, and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care. The role also involves discharge planning, delegation, and coordination of duties within the healthcare team, along with providing health information and patient education.
