Job Description
Job Summary:
Behavioral Health Specialist position in the adult therapy specialty, located at an inpatient facility. This role involves providing psychotherapy, psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and conducting group and individual therapy sessions. The position supports a patient population with diagnoses such as depression, suicidal ideation, and anxiety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, with a shift of 8 hours daily and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: MA prepared therapist; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), and Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC); State license for Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC); 1 to 5 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in group therapy sessions.
- Additional Information: This is a clinical position involving psychotherapy, psychosocial assessments, treatment and discharge planning, and group therapy participation. The role requires flexibility in personality fit and adherence to dress code guidelines.
