Job Summary
L&D (Labor and Delivery) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This role involves providing holistic, patient-centered care to women during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum and newborn care. The RN will execute nursing standards, develop care plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure positive outcomes for mothers and infants throughout the perinatal period.

Job Details

  • Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive care to customers and families in the Labor and Delivery department, incorporating assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The scope includes care for neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults, depending on the assigned service area. The RN collaborates and delegates activities, participating in shared decision-making, and actively improves practice standards and the environment of care.
  • Required Qualifications: Minnesota RN license or valid temporary license (with application for permanent license at the time of submittal); 2+ years of labor and delivery experience; proficiency in postpartum and newborn care skills; fetal monitoring interpretation experience; circulating for c-sections; experience with newborn, adolescent, and adult patients; Epic EMR experience; BLS (AHA or ARC); NRP; document STABLE; fetal monitoring (EFM) highly preferred.
  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Clinicians must list prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, or Blaze Health LLC on their resume. All RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; NMH may not honor RTO requests after submittal.
