Registered Nurse / Interventional Radiology

Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse (RN) Days Location not specified. This position involves providing direct patient care during complex diagnostic procedures within the interventional radiology department, including patient preparation, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting physicians throughout the procedures while maintaining a focus on patient safety and assessment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Travel IR RN with immediate start, lasting approximately 13 weeks, working weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, including every third week/weekend on-call.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license, CPR, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, at least 1 year of recent travel experience, and 1.5 years of IR RN experience. Must have experience working with conscious sedation administration within Interventional Radiology (angiography), CT scan, and Ultrasound; procedural experience in both interventional and diagnostic roles.
• Schedule: 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during days.
• Additional Information: The scope of role includes patient preparation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and assisting physicians in IR, CT, and Ultrasound procedures. The EMR system used is Cerner.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to provide proof of required certifications and licensing.
• Willing to review clinicians with pending state license.
