A healthcare organization is seeking a Utilization Review (UR) Extended (EXT) registered nurse in an unspecified location. This role involves completing utilization review, case management, and discharge planning to support patient care coordination and compliance.
Job Details
- **Position Description: UR RN will complete utilization review, case management, and discharge planning, requiring experience in MCG (Milliman Care Guidelines) and EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- **Certifications and Education: Valid licensure and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification are required.
- **Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- **Start Date: 10/19/2026.
- **End Date: 02/04/2027.
- **Experience Requirements: 1 year of utilization review experience required; 0 years minimum experience for other qualifications listed.
- **Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MCG and EPIC are preferred.
- **Additional Information: Candidate must hold an active license and BLS certification to qualify for this role.
