Registered Nurse / Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Open Heart

Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Open Heart specialization in a pediatric cardiac intensive care environment. This role involves caring for neonatal through young adult patients with congenital heart disease, post-surgical repairs, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant, and ventricular assist devices. The position requires expertise in pediatric cardiovascular critical care and supports a variety of complex cases within a dedicated 24-bed cardiac intensive care unit and a 12-bed overflow unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), valid Nursys license verification, professional ascension profile, and two professional references
• Certifications Required: BLS, PALS, ACLS
• Additional Information: The unit specializes in caring for patients with congenital heart defects, post-surgical repairs, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplants, and ventricular assist devices. Care is provided to neonatal through young adult patients, with occasional adult congenital heart disease patients. License and professional credential verification are required as part of the submission process.
