Job Details

  • Position Description: The Clinical Nurse II is an RN practicing as a full partner on the healthcare team, demonstrating safe practice within the organizational professional practice model. The nurse independently provides patient care through the application of the nursing process and accepts accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients, from infancy to adult. The nurse works closely with the inter-professional health care team to facilitate care coordination and promotes patient and family-centered care, evidence-based practice, safety, teamwork, professionalism, and leadership.
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum of three years of recent labor and delivery (L&D) and antepartum experience; proficiency in operation of clinical equipment, computers, and technology; BSN degree; current California RN license; current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification via the Association of Women`s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN); 12-hour shift schedule; minimum of 36 hours per week; start date 10/25/2026.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Highly preferred high-risk antepartum experience.
  • Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for guiding, assisting, and directing unlicensed assistive personnel as defined by the California Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies. This role involves evaluation of clinical practice, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring systems support patient-centered care.
