Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position located in a facility serving a Level 3 Trauma Center. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac, stroke, and general medical conditions. The assignment is scheduled to start on October 12, 2026, and conclude on January 11, 2027, with night shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa nursing license, active Med Surg/Telemetry experience of at least 2 years, prior travel work experience, Epic electronic medical record system experience, familiarity with Cardiazem, Nitro, Heparin titration, experience with Amiodarone, floating within the same discipline across local campuses. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association preferred), NIHSS certification. Driver`s license required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience, experience working in a Level 3 Trauma Center, experience with specific medication management.
• Additional Information: Must have completed a supervisory reference form within the last two years. There are no local candidates; all applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on drivers license. Scrub color is navy blue. Orientation sessions are scheduled for 10/12 and 10/26.
• Submission Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Tele experience required, along with proficiency in Epic EMR system.
