Job Summary
ICU Nurse needed for a 8-week assignment in an Intensive Care Unit located at a healthcare facility. The position involves providing care for critically ill adult patients, some pediatric patients, and stroke patients in a community hospital setting. The role requires hands-on clinical expertise in managing complex medical emergencies and post-surgical care.
Job Details
- Position Description: ICU RN needed for Exeter Hospital. 12-hour days, every third weekend required.
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of ICU experience, Epic electronic medical record experience, ACLS and BLS certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The ICU manages critically ill adult patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-surgical care. Some pediatric critical care may be involved, especially early in illness or stabilization. The unit also manages acute stroke patients, utilizing telestroke / tele/neurology services due to certification as a Primary Stroke Center.
