Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in Portland this position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within a medical-surgical unit that includes telemetry monitoring. The role encompasses supervising and directing nursing staff, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring patient safety and well-being.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional, and supervisory discretion.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS, 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, specialty in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE).
  • Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessments, developing care plans, implementing interventions, evaluating progress, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Nursing duties also involve discharge planning, delegation, and ensuring a safe environment.
