You must have an active Arkansas RN license or a qualifying compact state license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. At least 2 years of recent critical care nursing experience is required. Experience with electronic medical record systems such as Epic is recommended. Skills in patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, and teamwork are important.
