Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are sought for a contract position in a healthcare facility`s neuromedical/surgical unit. This role involves providing patient care in a 30-bed unit that utilizes telemetry technology. The position is ideal for candidates committed to delivering compassionate care in an acute setting, with a focus on stroke patients and wound management, among other procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; IV certification for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs); candidate must have 0 years of experience or more; applicable to candidates with relevant education and certification credentials, without additional experience requirements
• Preferred Qualifications: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; ACLS certification is a plus
• Additional Information: The unit employs advanced equipment such as Welch Allyn vital sign monitors, COWs, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, and CareView Virtual Sitter. The team is comprised of staff with significant tenure and experience, fostering a collaborative environment. Dress code specifies navy scrubs; hoop nose piercings are not permitted. The unit emphasizes team orientation and self-motivation among staff.
