Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) The organization is seeking an experienced PCU RN for a travel assignment. This position involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients on a high-acuity unit, with responsibilities including monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing post-procedural patients, and responding to emergent situations. The role offers a dynamic environment across multiple units within the healthcare providers facilities.

Job Details

• Certifications & Education: BLS, NIHSS Certifications required. ACLS preferred. Missouri or Compact nursing license required.
• Experience Requirements: 2 years of experience as a PCU RN; recent relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. The assignment starts on 11/02/2026 and ends on 02/01/2027.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Recognition and management of dysrhythmias, post-cardiac catheter care, wound care, assessment, and management of sepsis, renal failure, stroke, COVID-19, and other critical conditions.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Flexibility to float between approximately five units and other metro campuses as needed. Must meet compliance requirements including pre-shift modules and EPIC training.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be fully licensed and compliant before start date, with documentation due two Fridays prior.
