Registered Nurse / Bone Marrow Transplant Unit

Job Summary:
Bone Marrow Transplant Unit (BMT) registered nurse position is located at a healthcare facility in South Austin. The role involves administering chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments, performing blood product administration, and managing cell transplants. This is a 13-week contract assignment starting on October 5, 2026, with a focus on providing specialized care within a dynamic and experienced team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum 0 years of experience; Oncology experience; Chemotherapy certification through ONS/ONCC with 15.25 contact hours; BMT and CAR-T experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: BMT experience, CAR-T experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have the full (not fundamental) ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification and provide proof of competency in chemotherapy administration. The role involves frequent lab draws, cell transplants, and biotherapy treatments, requiring detail-oriented team players familiar with oncology procedures and equipment such as alaris pumps and EMR Meditech. Candidates should adhere to unit policies, including no artificial or gel nails and mask requirements in patient care areas.
