Registered Nurse / Emergency Room Pediatric

Job Summary:

Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse located in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metropolitan area. This role involves providing family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents across multiple hospital locations, utilizing the nursing process. The position requires flexibility to float between all three hospitals as needed, with a focus on delivering quality emergency pediatric care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current Minnesota Registered Nurse licensure or Minnesota Temporary Permit-RN; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification; proof of completion of Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC); two (2) years of Emergency Department nursing experience; pediatric Emergency Department experience highly recommended
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Emergency Department experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The RN will coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, performing independent nursing functions, and collaborating with other health team members to deliver comprehensive emergency care. The position begins on 10/05/2026 and concludes on 12/26/2026; the assignment length is approximately 12 weeks across three hospital locations utilizing Cerner electronic medical record system.
