Registered Nurse / Infusion

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced registered nurse (RN) specializing in adult non-oncology infusion within an ambulatory infusion setting. The role involves providing patient-focused care in a relaxed, fast-paced environment, performing IV insertions, blood draws, and maintaining central lines. The RN will work at two locations on a schedule from 7:30 or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts from 7:30 or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current active RN license; 2 years of RN experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; proficiency in peripheral intravenous insertions and blood draws; experience in accessing, maintaining, and de-accessing central lines; strong assessment skills for various medical conditions; ability to provide ongoing patient education.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ambulatory infusion experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); experience with Epic electronic health record system; previous travel experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves working at two locations, with notification of the preferred site prior to shifts. Candidates must have no recent employment within any Johns Hopkins Health System facilities for at least one year if previously employed in any capacity. Verification of prior employment is required prior to the offer. The position emphasizes rapid response capabilities in a patient-centric environment, focusing on safety and comfort during infusions.
